RECI
RECI is a self-regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It was formed in 1992 at the request of the Dept. of Energy in order to improve the standards of electrical installation work in Ireland. RECI’s aim is to promote and protect the interests of the public as users of electrical service so that they obtain an acceptable standard of workmanship and technical competence within the electrical contracting industry.

Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland
Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), formerly the Irish Energy Centre was set up by the government in 2002 as Ireland’s national energy agency. Their mission is to promote and assist the development of sustainable energy.

Health and Safety Authority
The Health and Safety Authority is the national body in Ireland with responsibility for securing health and safety at work. It is a state-sponsored body, operating under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 and it reports to the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
